We serve the residents of the ADM School District, the Van Meter School District, and anyone with a Redfield, Dexter or Linden address. 

About Food Insecurity in Iowa

  • 1 in 9 Iowans is food insecure, meaning they do not have consistent access to adequate nutrition to live a healthy life.
  • 300,000 Iowans face food insecurity and one-third of them are children.
  • The Good Samaritan Food Pantry served approximately 1450 households last year with shelf stable food. In addition, there were 3200 visits to the pantry for fresh food items.
