Amazon Wish List: Providing Food for Kids on the Weekends

In partnership with Adel DeSoto Minburn and Van Meter Schools, and the Food Bank of Iowa, the Good Samaritan Food Pantry provides weekend backpacks filled with nutritious food for over 180 children each week.   The “Kids’ Backpack Program” is organized and packed each week by a group of dedicated volunteers and delivered to the schools. Packs of food are distributed by the schools each Friday.
