On June 5, friendly volunteers staffed a traffic stop fundraiser at the corner of Nile Kinnick Drive and Main Street in Adel.  Traffic was heavy due to the Sheriff’s Car Show around the Square and the Pantry netted over $4,000 from generous drivers who pitched coins and bills into the volunteers’ buckets!   Also in June the Adel Lions Club donated $5,000 to the Pantry and a memorial in memory of long time volunteer Marie Dymond brought the total contributions for the first week in June to almost $10,000!   Thanks to all who helped  Good Samaritan receive these much-needed donations!
